KXL-CDE Programming
Does Kubotek still offer a SDK? If so, how can you get and what software is required?

Cadkey had a book, Exploring CADKEY's Open Architecture, is there anything available like that for KeyCreator?

I have some things I would like to automate for generating my Electrical Schematics.

TIA

Hi Cliff,
Does Kubotek still offer a SDK?

Yes, it is still available. You may have to contact support for the debug version.

What version of KC are you using?

Cadkey had a book, Exploring CADKEY's Open Architecture, is there anything available like that for KeyCreator?

Don't know if there is anything out there in regards to books.

I do have a bunch of Debug versions for older KC versions, you can always contact me if you want.

RE:KXL-CDE Programming
Thanks Hans for the information.

I have written some KXL programs that help me with electrical shematics. I have used some other products for schematic generation and panel layouts. But, everything I do is custom, so I rarely get to take advantage of all the features they offer so its just not worth the expense. Plus, I don't have to use them that often, so there is always a relearning curve. If could integrate the main features I want, like wire numbers and gauges and part list into KC it could save me a lot of time and money.
