Display view is not display view?
I have a file that I have rotated the view into what I would like the top view to be in a new file and my plan is to then copy the solids while in this view into the top view of a new file. I do not have a construction plane set in either file, I am copying from my expected "top down" view of the solid and then pasting into a new file that is in the top view with the expectation that the pasted solid will be in the same top down orientation as the view was in the first file but for some unknown reason the pasted objects are re-orienting themselves?? I've never seen this before. 🤯
