RE:Dimensioning an isometric View
Thanks Andy, Yes that helped alot. In model mode looks like both Dim Driven Edit dimensions can be made to show up in layout mode. This exercise got me looking at the level list more deeply. I didn't want dim's showing in model mode so I move them to a new level, turn them off, and turn them on in layout mode. I did not know that. I have not spent much time studying the levels list, but it does appear very powerful and versatile. I just have to get better at understanding all it's functions.
Even so, it feels a bit clunky having to go into model mode to place a dimension for layout mode. Would be nice if you could just pick a feature/part plane in layout and just pop an isometric dim directly on it. But this works.
