Occassional I notice that when I select a body I can see phantom features.

They cant be selected and dont show up in the model or layout modes.

RE:Phantom features
Are these phantoms features gone if you close and re-open the file?
One way (maybe not the best) to get rid of these is to unstich all faces and stich them back; it kind of cleans the geometry.

RE:Phantom features
The first (and safest possible step) we recommend that you take in these situations is to run the Rebuild Wires function (under Tools > Maintenance).

RE:Phantom features
I see this a lot with imported solids. Sometimes rebuild wires or heal body fixes it, about half the time.

RE:Phantom features
Same thing what Ram said and sometimes I use the clean solids function in combination with what Ram said:
Dana, I never had a solid that didn't clean up with what I mentioned, outside of maybe having to close and reload the part file.
