Is there a way to...
...show tolerances on a second line or is that not proper dimensioning? There are times when space is at a minimum to the right of a dimension so that when I add a Single +/- tolerance it interferes with my extension lines whereas if I could simply place the tolerance below the dimension it would fit and the point would still get across. 🤷🏻‍♂️ This is clearly not an option in Keycreator.

Hi Keith,

Other than explode/explode there appears to be no other way.

At least the text grouping is preserved to it is easy to reposition it.

All the best,

Mike

Yeah that's what I ended up doing, I was just curious.

Thanks Mike!

Hello Francis,

That isn't exactly what I was looking for as my issue is specifically when using the "Single +/-" tolerance setting, HOWEVER this gave me a really good idea for a workaround which does indeed work as you indicated.
Instead of using the tolerance selection I can just go to the Display Text tab, check the "Place below dimension text" (or insert |EOL) and then |PLM.020 (or whatever my tolerance is) in the Suffix box and get precisely what I want.

Thanks!!

Or instead of |PLM which is awkward to type, use ALT-241 (on the numeric keypad) to get ±.

RE:Is there a way to...

Yes, I used that method prior to purchasing a smaller keyboard sans numeric keypad which, had I known prior to purchasing (which was done to save desktop space) that having a separate numeric keypad does not allow the use of ascii character codes I likely would not have purchased. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
