Transformed Solids Issue
Is anyone else having an issue with transformed solids reverting back to original location. I seem to mainly be noticing it on rotated solids. Here is what is happening. I rotate a solid, do some work, maybe some layouts as well. Then at some point the solid appears back in it's original position. But if I highlight the solid, a "ghost" image of the wire will appear in the rotated position. If I rebuild the wires then the ghost image goes away, but I have to rotate it back to where I wanted it.
I reported this issue back in September along with a sample file and was told that somehow the ACIS geometry and HOOPS display are getting out of sync. The reason I am asking here is that it has been happening a lot lately, and would like to know if it is just me. Thanks!

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
Thanks for the reply, Jason. Which driver type under Tools->Options->Display->Graphics Card are you using? And what about the option under Tools->Options->Solids->Postpone loading of ACIS data until necessary? Is this checked? I'm just trying to figure out if there is something in my settings that may be giving me problems. I am using the "Hardware OpenGL 2" driver type and the "Postpone loading ACIS ..." option is checked. In fact, here is a screenshot of my Graphics Card setting page. Please let me know if you have anything set different.
:
Thank you.

Oops, I guess they are the same. I thought I saw some differences at first?

OK just hold on. (sigh)
I wish they had a delete function here. This was a copy of your post inadvertantly put back into my post. (Monday mornings y'know)
I'll send my image soon.

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
Thank you Jason. This gives me something to experiment with. What about the
Postpone loading of ACIS data until necessary
option? Is that checked?
And just for reference for anyone reading these, here is my system setup:

32 GB RAM
NVIDIA Quadro 4000 graphics card, Driver version 10.18.13.6175 (1/22/2016)

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about. The wireframe is where it should be. I have a hunch it may be happening after making layouts, but I can't be sure yet. I make copies of the solid on separate levels and rotate and position for different machining operations. I do this before making any layouts. Then, as I program each operation, I will make a setup sheet in layout mode for that operation. I then move on to the next operation, and when I turn on the level, it will sometimes be moved, as shown. If anyone has any ideas, I am open to suggestions. Thanks!
