KXL Question
I'm not sure this is the place to post this. I did not see a customization area as in the old forum.
I seem to remeber there is a way to place a variable in a design file that would stay in the file so it could be recalled later. It had a special prefix I think, but I can't recall what it is.
I would like to keep up with the last Item in detail drawings, so that when I have to add items they would use the next sequential number.
Any help is ppreciated.
Cliff

RE:KXL Question
Cliff,
you have to use the % in front of the variable name e.g.
%Cliff = 10
Next time you'd open the design file
%Cliff
would still have the value 10 until of course you'd change the value.
.
