Taps in detailing (layout mode) are showing up without their typical dotted outline like in other versions of kubotek.... I know this is a part of the updated version but I am wondering if there is a way to turn it back on?

It's working for me, though tapped holes have always been flaky in KC, the developers
really
need to take a long look at this functionality.
In HLD instances, check that the "thread rendering mode" is set to "simple". You can also try different renderings, Hidden, Precise Hidden, or Advanced Precise... sometimes one displays correctly while the others don't.
