Export AutoCAD
Is there a way to make .dxf the default export file type?
it seems like this was changed in 2020 to simplify and speed things up but I need to always export .dxf files instead of .dwg and it ends up taking extra clicks.
Thanks.

RE:Export AutoCAD
While the default is currently DWG when you first start the product, in 2020 SP2 the dialog will remember the last file type used. The file type does get reset to DWg when you restart KeyCreator. Sounds like you are looking for the change to be persistent. Please send in a request to tech support and we will review it for an upcoming release.

RE:Export AutoCAD
I did notice in SP2 it does remember the last file type however the file name still has a .dwg extension and needs to be changed to .dxf.
I'm guessing that is a glitch and not intended?

Yes, that is a bug. Again, please log this with tech support so it gets tracked for review by us.

RE:Export AutoCAD
I sent a request to support for this issue and also requested a setting to turn off "smart windowing".
Thanks
