Hi Peter,

Those icons look like the classic style function icons. 

To change them:  In the menu bar select "Tools". On the drop down select "application options" at the bottom.

On the application option window select "miscellaneous" at the bottom of the left hand panel.

The last check box line in the scroll box is "use cadkey classic style icons".  That will likely be checked from the look of your icons.  Uncheck it and restart KC.
