Selection behavior
Hello All,

In the video sent by Kubotek this morning. I,ve noticed that at 4:22, when selecting entities on top of changing for Hover color (I know how to set that) they also get thicker. How can I get that too ?

RE:Selection behavior
To get thicker highlighting on sheetbodies & solids only when shaded
  1. Set attributes of bodies to desired thickness (width & style ) you want during highlighting
  2. Turn on Tools>  Application Options> Solids
  3. Check on - DRAW EDGES SOLID & THIN IN SHADED MODE
See Release Notes page 57

RE:Selection behavior
Wkrol,

What you described is the opposite of what I would like to see. I want the model or geometry to be thin (thikness = 1) and when hovering or selecting an entity it shows thicker. Same as in the video mentionned above.

RE:Selection behavior
H Francis,

Yes it is counter-intuitive the way KC set up this feature.  However it does actually work.

Important to set step three as stated above: "Check on - DRAW EDGES SOLID & THIN IN SHADED MODE"

All the best,
Mike

RE:Selection behavior
Yes, this is the same thing I'm also looking for.  I'd like to also see a line width 2.  Thickness 1 is too thin, and thickness 3 is too thick.  Should really have unlimited thickness options, much like in a lot of Windows programs.
