RE:New to KC
Mike,
I downloaded a lot of the training material and was well into it, but was soon wishing to understand more of the basics so when a step in a tutorial is omitted I won't get stuck. or stumble. I could use a few tutorials on just the trim tools alone.
I agree my ingrained ways of doing things is a hindrance. Just looking for a tool icon that I'm not familiar with slows me down, and then there's the new steps I have to take to use the tools. There are other frustrations as well.
I have a feeling that once I get the swing of how to use KC efficiently it will be better. At least I hope so. I found myself going back to my old CAD to sketch out some quick ideas in both 2D & 3D to see different ways of how a few challenging parts might go together. I plan to carry the work over to KC and continue, but I realized how transparent the old tools are to me. After 20 years I guess they should be.
My son once said the hardest part of getting good at playing guitar is putting up with not being good at it. I can relate.
Thanks again.
Steve
