We are looking at getting an attachment for our Faro arm to do 3D scanning with and have learned that it exports with a file extension of .pcd which is a point cloud file which they can then convert to a solid model with their add-on software to then be exported to CAD. I recall that KeyCreator can import "Point Cloud" files with .csv and .prn extensions so I was wondering if anyone knew if a .pcd file might be an option now or in the future?
