RE:Transformed Solids Issue
I wonder if this has to do with the ACIS and HOOPS databases becoming out of sync. Do you have a 100% reproducible scenario?

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
I'm pretty sure that is what it is, but I have not been able been able to reporduce at will. I can rebuild the wires and get rid of the "ghost" image when highlighting, but then I need to reposition again.  If I can come up with a way to reproduce every time, I will definately pass that information along to support. My last post describes the scenario that it has been occuring with, but I don't know exactly when it happens.

Since I didn't get any responses of other people having this problem, I am thinking it could be something in my settings. But since I can't reproduce at will, I don't have a good way to test if changing something has any affect. I did try turning off all the Quick Move settings, except for Quick Move for Highlighting, and had the problem occur after. The reason I dodn't disable the Highlighting option is because when I did, many things didn't highlight at all in layout mode.

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
This may not help but "way back" in the day there was some issue related to yours that centered around "saving" the file while in Layout mode. It caused some goofy stuff to happen. I got so used to the issue that it has become a matter of course for me to save in Model mode only. Just a Thought..

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
Thanks for the reply. You may be on to something. I generally try not to save in layout mode, but sometimes I do out of habit. I then usually switch to model mode and save again, but this gives me something to experiment with. Hopefully I can come up with a reproducable scenario. Thanks again!

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
I heard from another guy having this same issue on multiple workstations and he told me they never save in layout mode, so it must be something else. I'll send support an email to see if they can give me any ideas on what could cause the display and geometry to get out of sync.

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
Unfortunately at this time we do not know the cause for this behavior. Just the solution. Going to Tools>Maintenance>Rebuild Wires>All should sync everything back up.

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
Thank you Chris. I know about the work-around to fix the issue. I was just hoping I could figure out a way to reproduce so you guys could get to the root of the problem. I just sent support an email with some questions. Take a look and let me know if there is anything I can do that might help.

RE:Transformed Solids Issue
Now that you mention it, the first time I noticed this (back in September) it was an assembly file. But the recent occurances have not been assemblies.
