It is the pro version I am running.  KC seems to run nicely on lower memory machines; just try different video settings as those make a huge difference.

Tools/ Face tools/ Change color/ Reset bodies to one solid color.  That should let you change colors.

Technical support is a good resource for helping with errant files.  New copies of KC are usually sold with maintenance.  

Failing that feel free to email me a file (and others in the community will likely offer the same) and I will try to conform it.
